The scholars used to meet their students under the BIG WIDE SHADE of the Sidra tree and used it as a big classroom. The teacher would sit his back to the trunk of the tree and the students circle around him.
Sidra Lectures takes closer looks at the messages in the Quran: Let it be in a sura, Juz, through a character, etc. Hence, trying to take the Quran as a real practical guide - a step further than only reading it correctly.
